The truth is, we all meditate at different times and in different ways to relax, recharge our minds, and re-energize, but often times our thoughts get in the way of the intended purpose of meditation, to find inner peace and joy.


Join Rev. Denise for a series of Guided Meditation classes that will assist individuals and groups, to settle in to the quietness of our minds and learn to find solace there.

Course Summary

This small group course will involve:
1. 4 Live (Online) Classes tailored to students who enroll, spread out over approximately 2.5 months (limited time replays will be available)
2. General principles of hip health that will keep you active for life

Great for yoga teachers and excellent for yoga practitioners.

This course is open to ALL. Use this course to enhance your own knowledge and deepen your meditation practice.

  • Chakra Energy 101

  • Koshas (the Five Sheaths)

  • Neuroplasticity

  • Mudras to support meditation

In research spanning many fields, scientists are discovering that mindfulness-based meditation—especially when combined with training in emotional intelligence, compassion practices, a gentle yoga practice, rewires our neural pathways to yield these and many other benefits that encourage relaxation, health, and wellness in the mind, in the body and in the spirit.

Our path to well-being is a journey of positive thoughts, eating well and caring for our our spirit. Yoga is the union between mind, body,  spirit and it encourages overall health and well-being. The hope is that students leave class feeling differently than when they walked in- physically, mentally and spiritually.

Practicing yoga is one way to help draw you back to that place of balance and help you find Serenity, inner peace,  and joy. Feeling balanced and centered, emotionally and mentally stable, physically strong, and having an overall feeling of peace and harmony—that’s what it means to experience Serenity.
